Wade House

Wade house was the original Weem Hotel built to house General Wade during his days of road and bridge building across Scotland around 1733. It was then extended out the back and the two dormers were added at a later date.
When it was separated from the current hotel in the 1980′s it was very partially upgraded.  We now (Aug 2012) have planning permission for a mega renovation before we rent out this soon to be 3 bedroom 2  with ensuite,  listed building  hopefully for completion by spring 2013.

It really has been a complete overhaul with some walls removed others moved and a huge amount of insulation installed as well as underfloor heating a new log fired stove.  There is also a lot of new windows really increasing natural light on the ground floor and the top floor has had the ceilings removed exposing the beams and creating a great master bedroom.

It will be available from Friday May 24th for holiday lets.
