The snow and ice have just about disappeared from the Aberfeldy area and in between the showers its a gorgeous day in Sunny Weem. Highland Perthshire is a very relaxing place to spend a few days in february with snow on the hills and fires in the Aberfeldy Watermill (bookshop, gallery and coffee shop) and Jakes Place the Courtyard Inn, Kenmore or within a few minutes walk the Ailean Chraggan Hotel (great for food or a drink especially when the Six nations rugby tournament is on. The river is dropping fast after the snow melt and the footpaths are all once again walkable, but bring wellies.
